Daeja Baker

Daeja Baker is a Democrat running for Shaler Area School District Board, PA (Region 1).

Daeja Baker has lived in Pittsburgh in the Charles Street Valley her whole life. She founded Pittsburgh Feminists for Intersectionality, raising over $100,000 in mutual aid for BiPoC women and femmes, and has led the Pittsburgh Racial Justice Summit. Daeja is currently studying to get her Master’s of Social Work and previously managed a successful School Board. If elected, she would be the first person of color ever elected to the Board.
